Are you are feeling like your skin has lost its glow? Struggling with acne scars? Are you are noticing more fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots? Then this may be the perfect service for you to reboot your skin.
Micro-needling is a minimally invasive procedure that involves introducing millions of microchannels into the skin with small, sterile needles. It is formally known as Collagen Induction Therapy because each treatment restores up to a year's worth of collagen while it also improves the overall appearance of your skin.
Micro-needling triggers your body's own natural healing response stimulating collagen and elastin which rejuvenates your skin from the inside out.
There are three phases in the wound healing process:
Micro-needling stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin which helps to fill fine lines, improve acne scars, smooth out large pores, and brighten the skin. The result is a fresher-looking you with plumper, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.
The benefits of micro-needling are broad, lasting, and can address:
A minimum of 3 treatments is recommended to see results in any area. We recommend the treatments be spaced out 2 weeks – 1 month apart. You need to give your skin time to heal in-between sessions. Micro-needling can be used in conjunction with other treatments as well to see optimal results. Once you achieve your desired results you should expect to do quarterly treatments to maintain Collagen stimulation.
Pre-Treatment Instructions: Discontinue the use of Retin A, Retinols, Vitamin A creams, and other topical medications for 3-5 days before treatment.
It is important after treatment to follow a safe protocol. For the first two days use only a gentle cream cleanser in conjunction with a water-soluble serum morning and evening, and try not to wear makeup. Stay out of the sun and do not use tanning beds. *No exercising or strenuous activity for at least 24 hours following treatment. After two days you can go back to your normal routine.
